This is a list of upcoming VR and AR devices: virtual reality, mixed reality and augmented reality hardware that the maker has officially announced but that was not yet on sale as of September 2026. It covers headsets, AR and smart glasses, and XR chips that announced devices are due to use. A product is listed only when the maker has named it in a press release, keynote, official product page or developer page, and only while it is not on sale in any region. Pre-orders, refundable deposits and reservation programs do not count as being on sale. Rumored devices, codenames that appear only in press reports, patents and cancelled products are left out.

The "Expected release" column gives each maker's own stated window, and those windows can slip. In August 2026, for example, Pico cancelled a planned 2 September launch event for PICO Space Pro and moved the headset's release to the fourth quarter of 2026.[1] Prices are the announced prices in the currency the maker gave. A blank price cell means that no price had been announced. The "Recently released" section lists devices that moved from announced to on sale during 2026.
