Tiny Flock is a physics-based virtual reality puzzle game developed and published by No Brakes Games, the Vilnius, Lithuania studio behind the platformer Human: Fall Flat. The player acts as a shepherd who guides a small flock of sheep across 21 hand-crafted diorama levels by moving, stacking, throwing and breaking objects in a fully interactive environment.[1][2] The game was announced on 13 August 2026 and is set for release on 29 September 2026 for Meta Quest and SteamVR, priced at US$18.99, EUR 18.99 or GBP 15.99.[3][4]

The studio describes Tiny Flock as built exclusively for VR. On Meta Quest it supports hand tracking and passthrough; on PC, hand tracking works with Quest headsets through Steam Link.[5][6]

Gameplay

Each level is a 3D diorama in which the player must get the sheep safely from one side to the other.[3] The sheep follow where the player leads them, and the player clears or builds a route with whatever the level contains: building paths and bridges, stacking and throwing objects, pulling ropes and levers, and smashing obstacles.[6][2] According to No Brakes Games, puzzles have no set solution, and players can engineer a careful structure or blast a path through a level.[1][6]

The game uses a custom physics system that the studio says was built specifically for VR, so that picking up and moving objects by hand feels tactile.[3] It includes achievements and collectibles, and its soundtrack is an original cello score.[5][3] The launch announcement calls it a relaxing game "designed for the whole family".[3]

The game can be played with tracked controllers or with hands.[6] On Steam, hand tracking is supported for Meta Quest headsets through Steam Link; the store page notes that the in-game menu is opened with a pinky-pinch gesture while hand tracking is in use.[6] Steam lists the game as single-player and VR only, with Steam Achievements and Steam Cloud support, and the store lists 18 supported languages.[6]

Development

Tiny Flock is developed by No Brakes Games, which describes itself as an independent studio best known for Human: Fall Flat, a physics platformer it says has sold millions of copies across PC, console and mobile.[1] UploadVR and COGconnected both introduced the game as a new project from the makers of Human: Fall Flat.[2][7]

In the announcement, Tomas Sakalauskas, CEO of No Brakes Games, said: "Tiny Flock is our desire to make something really good, polished and ambitious that is strictly VR, with interactions impossible on a flat screen. Even though VR isn't as popular as it once was, we're making it because we're incredibly proud of what we've accomplished and wanted to create something that could only exist in VR. It takes the Human Fall Flat philosophy for its worlds and puzzles and pushes it into interactions unique to VR."[1][8]
