Boogeyman 2 is a single-player psychological horror game for Oculus Rift and Windows PCs, sold on Steam. It is credited on Steam to the developer Clockwork Wolf and the publisher ClockWorkWolf, and was released on 7 February 2017.^[1] The store page states that it is a standalone story and that players do not need to have played the first game, Boogeyman.^[1] As of October 2026 it is still sold on Steam.^[1]

Overview

The game takes place at night. According to the Steam listing, a talking doll tells the player that a monster is coming for them, and the player carries a flashlight to find the Boogeyman. The listing adds that the weather changes from night to night and alters how the game plays, and that flashlight batteries run down, so the player must ration power or attempt to recharge them.^[1]

For VR, the store page says the game supports the Oculus Rift CV1 at 90 frames per second and lists a GTX 970 as the minimum graphics card for full VR. Its system requirements list Oculus PC as the VR support and note that a keyboard or gamepad is required.^[1]
