Overview

The game is a survival horror title set in a house at night. The player must last each night until morning against the Boogeyman, using a flashlight as the main means of keeping it away. According to the Steam page, items such as glow sticks, cherry bombs and coffee can be found by searching the house, and the room's lights and the flashlight batteries run out over time.[1]

The weather changes from night to night and affects play: rain covers sound, lightning gives brief glimpses of the room, and snow blizzards make the creature hard to hear. The Steam page also says that the player can learn where the Boogeyman hides and use its sounds to anticipate it.[1]

The Steam listing says the game supports VR at 90 fps on the Oculus Rift CV1, with a GTX 970 given as the minimum for VR. The listed VR requirement is an Oculus PC headset, and a keyboard or gamepad is required.[1]

Steam user reviews were rated Very Positive as of October 2026, based on 671 reviews.[5]
