Wrecked: Get Your Ship Together is a free-to-play, room-scale VR exploration game for the HTC Vive on SteamVR. It was developed and published by Business Mouse Studios and released on Steam on 13 April 2017.[1] The University of Utah Games program lists it among its student portfolio projects, credited to Business Mouse Studios.[2]

Reviewed 9 October 2026. Steam app 619600 (developer, publisher, release date, free price, VR-only, tracked controllers, 2.1 m room-scale requirement, gameplay and motion warning) and University of Utah portfolio credits checked against the live pages; no copied store text remains About review dates.

Overview

Steam's short description calls the game a whimsical exploration title with a humorous science-fiction setting.[1] The player maps a real chair into the play space, where it serves as the cockpit of a hovership, and the game avoids teleportation locomotion.[1]

According to the Steam listing, play alternates between driving the hovership and walking. The player moves on foot through the Starhopper mothership, drives across the planet to find salvaged parts, and docks with scuttled ships to search them on foot.[1] The listing warns that the game contains a lot of VR motion and advises players prone to motion sickness to use caution.[1] The Steam page requires a 2.1 m by 2.1 m room-scale area.[1]

The University of Utah portfolio page credits artists Matt Barnes and Jeff Jackman, engineers Yash Bangera, Michael Brown, Shreyas Darshan, Samrat Pasila and Sam Russell, producer Sydnie Ritchie and tech artist Brock Richards.[2]
