ViveSpray is a VR graffiti simulation game developed and published by ciwolsey for Windows and distributed through Steam. It was released on 25 November 2016 and is a single-player, SteamVR-based title that uses tracked motion controllers.[1] The Steam page states that it requires an HTC Vive.[1]
A sequel, ViveSpray 2, was released by the same developer on 27 December 2017.[2]
Overview
The player sprays virtual paint onto walls using a tracked controller as the spray can. The Steam listing describes three surfaces: walls in downtown Los Angeles, a large isolated wall at night, and a train.[3] According to the listing, holding the can close to the surface produces a thick outline, while moving it away lets the spray spread into a mist. A "Cap Tweak" slider adjusts how the spray behaves, and finished artwork can be captured and shared to Steam.[3]
The game is listed as supporting standing and room-scale play and has the Steam categories Single-player, Tracked Controller Support and VR Only.[1]
Reception
As of October 2026, 50 of the 75 Steam user reviews for the game were positive, which Steam summarizes as Mixed.[4]
