VRMultigames is a free VR App from Mad Triangles that bundles several short, original minigames built for virtual reality. It was released on Steam for Windows on 25 July 2016, with Mad Triangles listed as both developer and publisher.[1] The Steam listing states that it runs natively on both HTC Vive and Oculus Rift.[1] The same developer also made the VR action game DWVR.[1]
Overview
The game is a collection of minigames, and the Steam listing describes three at launch. In Drone Fight, the player uses a light sword and a pistol against drones, deflecting or destroying their projectiles; the listing says it was inspired by Lightblade VR and Space Pirate Trainer. In Last Stand, the player has only a bow and tries to survive for as long as possible, losing if an enemy gets close. In Goalkeeper Simulator, the player defends a goal with oversized telescopic hands against machines that launch balls, and loses after letting too many through.[1]
The developer stated that more minigames would be added over time and that new ones would also be free.[1] Steam lists the game as single-player with tracked controller support and VR only, and its system requirements specify SteamVR or Oculus PC with standing or room-scale play.[1][2]
