The Gleam: VR Escape the Room is a room-scale escape room game for HTC Vive, released on Steam on 14 October 2016.^[1] It is listed as a VR-only title with tracked controller support, and its Steam page states that it requires an HTC Vive.^[2] It was made by Blue Entropy Studios, which lists the game among its VR titles in a Steam bundle.^[3] As of October 2026 the game is still sold on Steam at US$3.99.^[2]

Overview

The player works through a confined escape-room setting by finding items, solving puzzles and working out codes. The Steam page says the game uses full room-scale movement based on the minimum room-scale requirements, with no teleporting or artificial locomotion, and that some obstacles involve crawling through vents.^[1] The store page describes a horror ambiance, and Steam labels the game Violent and Gore.^[2]

The game is single-player. Steam lists it with Steam Trading Cards and Family Sharing, and the store page calls for a 2 m by 2 m play area.^[2]
