Qwen N1 Pro Glasses, marketed as Qwen Glasses N1 Pro (Chinese: 千问 AI 眼镜 N1 Pro), are AI glasses from Alibaba.[4] The N1 series uses a screenless design with voice interaction.[5] The Pro adds eye tracking, iris-based payment verification and health monitoring to camera and assistant functions.[4][6]
Camera and AI interaction
The Qwen assistant offers translation, AI memos, automatic meeting notes and travel reminders.[2]
Eye tracking supplies context for a spoken question. In Alibaba's exhibition example, a wearer looks at an exhibit and asks about it; the assistant uses gaze information to determine the intended object.[6] Iris verification is also used for payments.[7]
Sensing and power
Himax Technologies identifies its HX6538 as the N1 series' low-power visual sensing processor. Himax says this sensing path operates separately from conventional image capture and wakes the host when it detects relevant events or people. The supplier's 5 mW figure describes processor operation, rather than the power consumption of the complete glasses.[3]
The N1 Pro has replaceable temple batteries.[2]
Health monitoring
The Pro is advertised to monitor heart rate, blood oxygen and skin temperature, with AI summaries of the readings. Launch demonstrations also described eye-use monitoring and exercise reminders. Unwire cautioned that the readings and AI analysis should not be treated as a medical diagnosis.[8]
Announcement and availability
Alibaba presented the series at the 2026 Apsara Conference. Reservations opened on 22 September, with sales scheduled for 13 October.[7] The glasses went on sale in China on 13 October 2026.[1]
