Light Repair Team #4 is a light-reflection puzzle game for SteamVR and the HTC Vive, developed and published by Eerie Bear Games. It was released on Windows through Steam on 5 April 2016, and it is a single-player, room-scale game played with tracked motion controllers.[1][2] As of October 2026 the Steam listing shows the game as free to play, and the developer's itch.io page sells it for a minimum of US$7.99 with a Steam key.[1][3]

Reviewed 9 October 2026. Checked developer, publisher, release date, price, SteamVR room-scale requirements and review figures against the Steam listing and API, the itch.io page and the OpenCritic review summary. About review dates.

Overview

The player works as a repair person in New Corona, a city whose buildings are powered by light carried through pipes. After flooding and the building of a canal system damaged the grid, the player restores power across 25 puzzles by redirecting light to its receptacles with mirrors, lenses and prisms.[1]

The game is a room-scale title. Steam lists SteamVR support with a 2 m by 2 m area required, and the itch.io page names the HTC Vive as the supported headset with a minimum of about 2 m by 1.5 m and 2 m by 2 m ideal.[1][3] Steam also notes that the game is available for arcades through SpringboardVR.[1]

Reception

OpenCritic indexes a single review, an unscored one from TheSixthAxis, which found the puzzles well thought out but criticized the plain graphics and the unexplained reason for the light-bouncing premise.[2] Steam user reviews were rated Very Positive as of October 2026, with 50 of 55 reviews positive.[4]
