Kodon is a 3D sculpting application for VR and desktop, developed and published by Tenk Labs (listed on Steam as TenkLabs).^[1] It runs on Windows and supports SteamVR-compatible headsets, including the HTC Vive and Valve Index, as well as Meta/Oculus and Windows Mixed Reality headsets.^[1] Steam lists an Early Access release date of 3 June 2016 and a release date of 10 December 2023.^[1]

Overview

Kodon is a digital sculpting and modeling tool for creating 3D assets. Its Steam page describes it as VR and desktop software that is still under development, and says it supports a "hybrid workflow" that lets users switch between working in VR and at the desktop, and between free-hand and flat ("planar") drawing approaches.^[1]

The developer's website lists surface sculpting with multi-resolution meshes, voxel sculpting, and polygon modeling tools, along with pen tablet support, left-hand support, and OBJ and FBX import and export. That page carries a 2021 copyright date, so the list may not reflect the current version.^[2]
