Just In Time Incorporated is a virtual reality action and puzzle game developed and published by Second Wind Interactive. It was released on Steam on 27 July 2017 and uses Tracked Motion Controllers.[1] The Steam listing supports SteamVR and Oculus PC headsets, and it is still on sale there as of October 2026.[1]

The player takes the role of an agent at a fictional "death prevention" insurance company, saving clients from deadly situations with time-manipulating gloves.[2]

Reviewed 9 October 2026. Checked title, developer, publisher, release date, VR support, Rift S notice and review rating against the Steam listing, and the review and preview statements against two UploadVR articles About review dates.

Overview

Each level places the player in a scenario where a client is about to be killed, such as a mugging, traffic or lab rats, and the player has to stop the danger. According to UploadVR, the player teleports through the levels while time is slowed and uses objects in the environment to solve the situation, and some missions need several steps, such as getting an eye scan to open a locked door.[2] The gloves are described on the Steam page as letting the agent move at ten times human speed, and tasks listed there include catching bullets, using a sword, knife or chainsaw, using explosives and disabling machine gun turrets.[1] UploadVR described the visuals as blocky and Minecraft-inspired, with computer-generated voices.[2]

The developer notes on the Steam page that the game does not work on the Oculus Rift S and that it has no plans to fix this.[1]

Reception

In its review of 14 August 2017, UploadVR's Jamie Feltham found the premise and humor appealing but said the game did not successfully combine its comedy, action and puzzle levels. He also criticized trial-and-error puzzles and repetitive missions, and put the campaign at about two hours.[3] Steam user reviews were rated Mostly Positive as of October 2026.[1]
