Heaven Island Life is a Simulation VR app for the HTC Vive on Windows. It was developed by Fabio Ferrara and published by Chubby Pixel, and released on Steam in April 2016.[1] The Steam listing marks it as VR only and states that it runs only with the HTC Vive.[2]
Overview
The player explores island environments. According to the Steam listing, the environments were inspired by the designs of Renzo Piano and by the book Origins of Architectural Pleasure, which centers on comfort and well-being.[1]
The listing says an updated version lets the player interact with many objects in the scene through what it calls "Soul controllers". Movement is by teleportation with the right controller trigger, while the left controller trigger spawns stones, which the player can place to build zen gardens or toss into the sea.[1] The Steam page lists the game as single-player.[2]
