Dream Golf VR is a free-to-play mini golf game for Windows PCs, developed and published by Isaac Stearns. It was released on Steam on 3 November 2017 as a VR-only title, and Steam lists support for SteamVR headsets such as the HTC Vive and for Oculus PC headsets, with tracked controllers.[1] The Steam page was still live in October 2026 and listed four paid DLC course packs.[2]

Reviewed 9 October 2026. Checked the Steam store page, appdetails data and review summary for developer, release date, VR support, modes, DLC and user-review counts. About review dates.

Overview

The game is played with tracked motion controllers in a Room-scale VR space. Steam lists a minimum play area of 2 m by 1.5 m. It includes two 18-hole mini golf courses (36 holes in total). Before starting, the player can choose a ball color, adjust the length of the club and pick one of several soundtracks. Each hole has a sign on a post that tracks the player's score.[1]

According to the Steam listing, the game offers several modes: a "glow golf" night setting, an arcade mode with added traps, obstacles, penalties and rewards, a hard mode with additional holes to avoid, each of which adds a stroke if the ball sinks in it, an easy mode in which the ball gravitates toward the hole at close range, and a practice mode for replaying any hole. It also has local high scores, Steam achievements, and Steam leaderboards.[1] Four further courses are sold separately as DLC.[2]

Reception

As of October 2026, Steam showed 143 user reviews for the game, of which 110 were positive, giving an overall rating of "Mostly Positive".[3]
