Broomball VR is a free single-player SteamVR game in which the player flies on a broomstick and tries to score goals while fending off enemies. It was developed by Rushil Reddy, Priyam Parikh and Ken Watanabe and published by Broomball Inc. for the HTC Vive on Windows. The game was released on Steam on 26 July 2016.

Overview

The Steam store page describes the game as a flying sport in which the player crosses a field on a broomstick, shoots fireballs at enemies, and aims to score the winning goal before time runs out. The page also says the game teaches the player to fly, score and fight ahead of match day. It is listed as VR-only with tracked controller support, and it requires SteamVR and a room-scale area of at least 2 m by 1.5 m.

The developers stated on the store page that they were still polishing the game and planned to add a multiplayer mode, and that they released it for free beforehand to collect feedback on the game mechanics. They also said they intended to publish free development tutorials on their website, leadingones.com.
