Beats Fever is a virtual reality rhythm game developed and published by Arrowiz. It was released on Windows through Steam in January 2017 with support for the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift via SteamVR.^[1]^[2] A PlayStation VR version was released in Japan on 19 August 2019, published there by Sun Denshi.^[3]

Overview

The player hits or slides through incoming notes, shown as orbs, in time with licensed music tracks. The Steam listing describes it as a "drum & dance arcade game experience in VR" and lists three city stages and 30 licensed tracks, while the developer's itch.io page lists four stages and 40 tracks.^[1]^[2] The Steam listing marks the game as VR only with tracked controller support.^[1]

The PlayStation VR edition uses PlayStation Move controllers. According to Game*Spark, it has 33 tracks across four stage backgrounds, and the Japanese localization includes on-screen circles marking standing and sitting positions as well as adjustable hit-area distance and size.^[3]

Reception

The Steam store page quotes UploadVR, SteamShovelers and Dospara in praise of the game. Steam user reviews were rated "Mostly Positive" as of October 2026.^[1]
