The VIVE Pro Eye is a PC virtual reality head-mounted display developed by HTC, released in 2019 at $1,599 (full kit). Featuring integrated precision eye tracking co-developed with Tobii, dual OLED displays at 1440x1600 per eye (615 PPI), Hi-Res certified 3D spatial audio, and SteamVR 2.0 room-scale tracking up to 32'x32', the Pro Eye enables foveated rendering, heat-mapping analytics, gaze-oriented navigation, and realistic avatar eye movement for enterprise VR applications.
History and Development
