VR Escape the space station is a single-player Adventure and room-escape puzzle game for SteamVR, built for the HTC Vive and played with Tracked motion controllers. It was released on Steam for Windows on 24 August 2016.^[1] The Steam listing named Joygo.studio as developer and publisher in 2016,^[2] and it now shows weyha.com in both roles.^[1]

Overview

The player is an astronaut trapped alone on a space station and has to find a way out. The Steam listing describes four rooms of puzzles, with scenes that include a zero-gravity spaceship section and a corridor with an outer-space view.^[1] The description advises players to check cabinets and drawers, which may hide secrets, and to examine objects closely for clues.^[1]

The game uses the Vive controllers. The trigger grabs objects and the touchpad teleports the player.^[1] It can be played in any space, though the listing recommends a room of at least 3 m by 2.5 m with a 2.4 m ceiling for the full experience.^[1] Steam lists it as single-player, VR only, with tracked controller support.^[1]
