Marshmallow Melee is a rogue-lite dungeon crawler for VR developed and published by TriHelix LLC. It is played with Tracked Motion Controllers through SteamVR on Windows, and the Steam listing marks it as VR only.^[1] It was released on Steam as an Early Access title on 6 October 2017, and the store page still carried the Early Access label in October 2026.^[1]

Overview

The player leads a party of small toy-like warriors up a tower toward a boss called Steve, a wizard whom the game's Steam page describes as responsible for kidnapping the Marshmallows.^[1] The tower layout is reshuffled so that runs differ from one another, and its levels are built as miniature "playset" environments; the developer lists more than 70 of them, plus shops that sell weapons and food.^[1]

The game is designed for forward-facing Seated or Standing play, which the developer calls "Couch Scale", so it needs little physical space.^[1] Steam lists it as a single-player game with tracked controller support.^[1]
