The Slopes is a downhill skiing virtual reality game for Windows, developed by Peter Labick and Connor Laux. It was released on Steam on May 19, 2017, with SteamVR support for the HTC Vive and the Oculus Rift with Touch controllers. At launch the Steam page listed GreenHopper Development as publisher; the current Steam listing names My Way Games. The game remains on sale on Steam as a VR-only title.

Overview

The player skis down a mountain course, dodging obstacles and collecting coins on the way to the bottom. Trees, fences, logs, rocks and poles slow the skier down, and the game keeps a leaderboard. Steering is done by tilting the head, and the player uses ski poles to build speed.

The Steam listing says the game supports standing and room-scale play spaces and tracked controllers, and requires a VR headset. The game is single-player and includes Steam stats and trading cards.
