The Lenovo Mirage Solo is the first standalone virtual reality head-mounted display with Google's WorldSense positional tracking technology, developed by Lenovo in partnership with Google, announced at CES on January 9, 2018, and released on May 11, 2018 at a price of $399. As the first standalone Daydream headset and the first with true 6DoF (6 degrees of freedom) positional tracking without external sensors, the Mirage Solo represented a significant advancement over 3DoF mobile VR headsets like the Oculus Go and Google Daydream View. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with a 5.5-inch QHD LCD display (2560 × 1440), the Mirage Solo offered access to the Daydream catalog of over 250 apps and could track user movement up to 1.5 meters in any direction using Google's WorldSense inside-out tracking system.
