The HP Reverb G1 is a Windows Mixed Reality head-mounted display developed by HP, announced in March 2019 and released in May 2019 at $649. The Reverb G1 featured the highest resolution of any Windows MR headset at the time, with dual 2.89-inch LCD panels at 2160 x 2160 per eye (4320 x 2160 total), offering 2.5 times the resolution of the original HP VR1000. The RGB stripe subpixel layout drastically reduced screen-door effect, delivering one of the sharpest VR images available in 2019. A Professional Edition with both standard 4-meter and 0.6-meter cables was available for enterprise use with HP's Z VR Backpack PC.[1]
