History and Development

Xreal launched the Air 2 series in late 2023 as an upgrade to the original Xreal Air (formerly Nreal Air). The Air 2 improved upon its predecessor with higher brightness, better color accuracy via Gamma 2.2 calibration, redesigned speakers, thinner frames (19mm vs 21mm), and reduced weight. The Air 2 Pro variant adds electrochromic dimming for adjustable opacity. An optional Xreal Beam accessory enables wireless connectivity and spatial display features.[1]
