Overview

The Viture Luma Ultra represents VITURE's most advanced consumer AR device to date, featuring a triple-camera system that enables six degrees of freedom (6DoF) tracking and hand gesture recognition. History

Company Background

VITURE was founded in August 2021 by former employees of Google and Apple, with dual headquarters in San Francisco, California, and Beijing, China.[4] The company completed a seed funding round and Series A round exceeding $10 million USD in 2022. The Viture Luma Ultra is the first device in its class to feature a proprietary processing chip that handles all 6DoF calculations directly on the glasses themselves, eliminating the need for external computing units for tracking.[12] This onboard processing allows the Luma Ultra to support 6DoF tracking across different platforms including Windows, macOS, and the VITURE Pro Neckband, though 6DoF functionality is not supported on the SpaceWalker app for iOS and Android.[11]
