The Dell Visor is a Windows Mixed Reality head-mounted display developed by Dell. Released in October 2017 as part of Microsoft's Windows Mixed Reality initiative, the Dell Visor features dual 2.89-inch LCD displays at 1440 x 1440 per eye resolution, 90 Hz refresh rate, 110-degree field of view, and inside-out tracking that eliminates the need for external sensors. The headset's flip-up visor design allows users to quickly switch between virtual and physical reality.[1]

History and Development

Windows Mixed Reality Platform

Dell developed the Visor as part of Microsoft's Windows Mixed Reality initiative, which launched with Windows 10 Fall Creators Update in 2017.
