AltspaceVR is an social VR app founded by Eric Romo, Gavan Wilhite and David Gudmundson. It allows users to participate in various activities such as browse the web, watch videos, play game and attend events in a 3D virtual environment. Additionally AltspaceVR will allow developers to convert 2D javascript content into 3D virtual worlds with minimal changes.
AltspaceVR has raised 5.2 million dollars in venture capital from likes of Google Ventures and Tencent.
