The Bigscreen Beyond 2 is a PC virtual reality head-mounted display developed by Bigscreen, released in 2025. The world's smallest VR headset at just 107 grams (visor only), the Beyond 2 features next-generation optics delivering 116° diagonal field of view (rivaling Quest 3 and Vision Pro), 2560x2560 micro OLED displays per eye, mechanical per-eye IPD adjustment for universal fit, edge-to-edge clarity with reduced glare, and increased brightness. Available as Beyond 2 ($1,019) and Beyond 2e with eye tracking ($1,219), the headset is nearly 5x lighter than Quest 3 and 8x lighter than Valve Index.
History and Development
Bigscreen launched the Beyond 2 in 2025 as the successor to the original Beyond, addressing key user feedback. The Beyond 2 introduces mechanical IPD adjustment (eliminating the custom-fit requirement), significantly expanded field of view, and improved optical quality. The Beyond 2e variant adds AI-powered eye tracking with VRChat integration. A special VRChat Edition in Atomic Purple with translucent shell showcases the partnership between Bigscreen and VRChat.[1]
