Nod is a gesture control ring developed by Nod Labs. Nod can be used as a Virtual Reality input device. This wearable device is worn on your index finger. User can even wear two at a time, one on each hand. Equipped with sensors, processors and a Bluetooth antenna, the ring allows its user to control and interact with various devices, such as a smartphone or VR HMD, by waving, pointing and gesturing with his or her finger.

Hardware

The outer covering of the Nod ring is made out of stainless steel. It is made and contoured to fit comfortably on your index finger. The ring also has many different sizes.

Weighing 2 ounces, the Nod ring is water proof. It is designed to be worn all day, all the time. The 23-mAh battery gives the ring about a day of battery life.

Along with 2 CPUs, Nod's Bluetooth 4.0 antenna has a range of 30 feet.
