OZO is a virtual reality camera created by Nokia Technologies. Unveiled on July 28, 2015, this 360 degrees camera is designed and built for professional VR Filmmakers. Content filmed with the ball-shaped OZO can be viewed on various VR Devices (HMDs), with immersive, 360 degree videos and spatially accurate surround sound.[1]

OZO is partnered with Jaunt VR for its post-production services.

OZO offers an end-to-end solution for professional capture, editing and playback of cinematic VR experiences.

Features

OZO captures stereoscopic 3D video through 8 synchronized global shutter sensors and spatial audio through 8 integrated microphones. Software built for OZO enables real-time 3D viewing, with an innovative playback solution that removes the need to pre-assemble a panoramic image. OZO also integrates into existing professional workflows and works with third-party tools, dramatically simplifying content production at all stages.[1]
