OZO is a virtual reality camera created by Nokia. Unveiled on July 28, 2015, this 360 degrees camera is designed and built for professional VR content creators. Content filmed with OZO can be viewed on various VR Devices (HMDs), with immersive, 360 degree videos and spatially accurate surround sound.[1]
OZO is partnered with Jaunt VR for its post-production services.
OZO offers an end-to-end solution for professional capture, editing and playback of cinematic VR experiences.
Features
OZO captures stereoscopic 3D video through 8 synchronized global shutter sensors and spatial audio through 8 integrated microphones. Software built for OZO enables real-time 3D viewing, with an innovative playback solution that removes the need to pre-assemble a panoramic image. OZO also integrates into existing professional workflows and works with third-party tools, dramatically simplifying content production at all stages.[1]
