The Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 Reference Design (QXR2230P) is a form-factor-accurate virtual reality and mixed reality reference platform developed by Qualcomm to help OEMs accelerate development of next-generation VR/MR headsets. Announced in 2023 and manufactured in partnership with Goertek, the reference design showcases the capabilities of the Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 processor including dual 2.56K Micro-OLED displays, pancake lenses, Tobii eye tracking, room-scale 6DoF tracking, video see-through mixed reality, and hand tracking. The platform powers headsets including the Meta Quest 3.[1]

History and Development
