An augmented reality headset is a head-worn computer that enables the wearer to see 3D computer graphics on top of the real world.

Examples of AR headsets are the Microsoft Hololens, the Magic Leap 1, and Project North Star.

It provides an augmented reality experience for the wearer. It shows virtual content on a real world experience in first person such that the virtual content is registered to the real world.[1]
